Negotiation of rates will be carried out by RIG Vet Recruitment, and not by the locum and practice. This will ensure that both parties are happy, without the difficulty and sometimes embarrassment of negotiating with each other.
Contracts will be drawn up by RIG Vet Recruitment before the locum commences the contract. Once you have decided on the locum, we will generate all the necessary legal paperwork - saving you time to concentrate on running your practice, and ensure that both parties are legally covered throughout the duration of the contract.
All payments to the locum will be organised through RIG Vet Recruitment and we will invoice your practice. This ensures that the locum is paid regularly and that the invoices you receive are correct each and every time.
We will be in regular contact with both the locum and practice throughout the duration of the contract to make sure everything is running smoothly and to sort out any issues should they arise or contract extensions.
The checks and assessments documented on the website are conducted prior to the placement, however if the candidate and the company through which the candidate provides their services chooses to opt out of the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003 RIG shall only check whether the candidate has appropriate and valid right to work evidence and that they have a current CV.
